How to submit an application for a UK visa?

Applicants will need to visit the UK Visa Application Centre to submit their applications in person.

Each application must include the following:

1. Completed visa application form
2. Correct published visa fee
3. A valid passport which has at least one page free on both sides in their visa pages for the insertion of a vignette
4. Photocopy of data page of the passport (passport page with photo/extension of validity/endorsement if applicable)
5. Previous passport (If any)
6. Photograph (see Photo Specifications)
7. Supporting documentations

Hours of Operations

The Visa Application Centre is open Monday to Friday.

Submission of applications: 0830 - 1500
Collection of passports: 1500 - 1630

The UK-Visa contact centre will have pre-recorded visa information available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the UKVAC user-friendly Interactive Voice Response system. Contact centre agents are available between 0830 hrs to 1630 hrs from Monday to Friday (except holidays).

The Visa Application Centre offers the following services at a nominal additional cost:

• Photo services
• Courier service (see designated areas)
• Fax facility

Security

Due to security concerns, only the principal applicant will be allowed to enter the application centre. However, interpreters are allowed to accompany physically challenged applicants.

It is requested to avoid carrying the restricted items such as mobile phones, bags etc to the application Centre.

Wheelchair

Facility for wheelchair access is available at the Main Entrance. A permanent ramp is available at the far right corner of the Main Entrance steps and a temporary ramp is available at the Regent House Security Desk for the steps in the Lobby. On the 2nd Floor, there is easy access from the lift to the Application Centre. Applicants can also disembark at the Car Park on the 3rd Floor and use the Elevator to access the Application Centre. It is suggested to inform application centre staff in advance for assistance.
