request for amendment to the dates would necessitate making a fresh
application.
On 30 June 2008 the United Kingdom Border
Agency (UKBA) will introduce
a new Points Based application process for certain categories of
visa applicants. Only a few categories of applicant will be affected
by this initial rollout, namely those which fall under the UKBA TIER
1 criteria. This includes the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme, Post
Study Work (Graduate Schemes), Entrepreneurs and Investors.
At this stage the application process for ALL
other applications (i.e. visit visas) remains unchanged.
